FOX VALLEY FOLKLORE SOCIETY'S STORYTELLING GUILD

ASE: THE CHICAGO ASSOCIATION OF BLACK STORYTELLERS
Meetings are held every month on the second Sunday from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. The location rotates among the homes of members. "Ase", (pronounced "ah-SHAY"), is a term from the Yoruba people of Nigeria, West Africa, having several meanings including the reminder that there is truly power in our words. ILLINOIS STORYTELLING FESTIVAL, INC.
Presents Illinois' largest Storytelling Festival on the last Full Weekend In July, in the Village Park in Spring Grove, IL. The Festival features a great selection of the finest regional and national story tellers on 4 - 5 stage areas that run through the day with "GHOST STORIES" on Saturday night.
